The courts division of the Clerk's office is located in Suite 11on the basement floor of the Court House.
Civil suits are filed with the Courts Division of the Clerks's Office which
is located in Suite 11of the basement floor of the Courthouse. Records of
Criminal procedings are also kept by the Court Division.
Indexes to all Civil and Criminal suits from the beginning of the Parish are
available along with images of the actual documents in each file from 1997.
Copies of these records are also available for a fee with the exeception of
Juvenile and Adoption records which are confidential.
Suits filed with the Court Division include: Civil, Probates or Successions,
Adoptions, Criminal, Traffic, Juvenile and Non-Support. |
